Sweet Dixie Floral Bouquet Part 3

Good Morning Crafters   Today we have the final part of Gill's step by steps using the Sweet Dixie Floral Bouquet designed by Sue Dix.   We are adding new products to the Sweet Dixie line on our Personal Impressions website.     To create this project you will need the following:   Sweet Dixie Floral Bouquet Stamp Memento Ink - Sweet Plumb and Tuxedo Black Gesso paint - White Promarker pens Small MDF Tray Mod Podge Outdoor   Step 1 Paint the tray with a good coat of white gesso   Step 2 Stamp the beautiful floral bouquet image on a scarp of white card and colour using pens of your choice. My pens of choice are promarkers and I used shades of lilac for the flowers   Step 3 Once you have coloured the image and fussy cut it stick it to the tray using the Mod Podge. Good Morning Crafters   Today we are sharing Elaine's project with you, an idea for this Christmas maybe! This is Elaine's last project with us on the DT and we wish her all the best for the future. Products used can be found on the Personal Impressions website. Americana Decoart Chalk Paint Everlasting and Rouge Decoart Snowtex Ranger Stickles Christmas Red Gesso Wooden Plaque   I had this wooden plaque made, there are lots of laser cutters out there if you Google them that will be happy to help you have a personalised sign made. I then gesso the plaque to give a good coverage as sometimes with laser cutting it does burn the wood and will bleed through you paint.   Next draw a faint line where you want the red and white to meet, the idea is to look like there is snow at the bottom of the wood. sorry I forgot to take a photo of this process...caught up in the moment LOL.  This chalk paint is fabulous to work with.
