Lavender Angels by Teresa Morgan

This week I have been busy sewing lavender bags which would make perfect Christmas stocking fillers. I have used Lindsay Mason’s gorgeous Holy Night Angel stamp design to decorate them.


I stamped the angels using Archival Ink onto some unbleached cotton fabric then coloured with Inktense blocks


The backs are plain, and the hanging loops are some pretty crocheted lace. I stitched around the outline using free motion embroidery and filled with polyester stuffing and a couple of scoops of dried lavender.


These would be equally at home hanging on the Christmas tree or in the wardrobe or a clothes drawer.
