This beautiful stamp (SDCSA6114) from the Sweet Dixie collection is designed by Lindsay Mason for Personal Impressions. I love the music detail on her dress and was inspired to create a little canvas decoration with her.


I took a black 6 inch canvas and swiped a Versamark inkpad around the edges , then added gold embossing power  and used a heat tool to emboss it.


I stamped the angel onto white paper with Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder, then coloured her with Promarkers before cutting out. I used Mod Podge to glue her to the canvas.

 I stamped and embossed the star and words directly onto the canvas to finish the piece. I love the music score detail – one of my favourite hymns!

You can do so much with a canvas - you can use rice papers, dies, stencils, acrylic paints, pastes and so much more. Materials: White Canvas Ciao Bella Rice Paper Sweet Dixie Dream Catcher Die Sweet Dixie Feather Die White Card Dimensional Paste Blue/Aqua/white Paint Cadence Magic Bond and Seal Glue Honeycomb Stencil Brown/blue distress ink Method: First of all start off with layering the base of your canvas using your rice papers. Good Morning Crafters   With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.   Have you made your Valentine's card yet?   Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.     Products used for this project are:   Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers Aspire Crafts Stamping Card C6 white card blank Red and black cardstock Fired Brick distress ink Worn Lipstick distress ink Versamark stamping pad White embossing powder Memento black ink Scrap of red ribbon Red crystal stickers   Step 1 For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.  Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.    Step 2 Cut out a heart shape from w
