Decorated Gift Bag

Good Morning Crafters
 
Today we have a decorated gift bag project by Mags.
 
Did you know that Personal Impressions have their own brand called Sweet Dixie?

To create this project you will need the following:
 
Personal Impressions Smooth White Card
Sweet Dixie Stamp Set – RTG Flowers
Sweet Dixie Die – With Thanks
Sweet Dixie Embossing Powder – Black Rainbow Super Sparkle
Versamark Ink Pad
Distress Ink – Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac
Scrap of purple card
Kraft Gift Bag
Butterfly punch
Double Sided Tape
 
 
Step 1
 
Cut a piece of smooth white card to fit the front of the gift bag. 
Do a colour wash onto the white card using distress ink and water. 
Simply apply some distress ink to a craft mat, apply some water and brush over the white card.

 
Step 2
Stamp the flowers images onto the bottom of the background using versamark ink and emboss with the black sparkle embossing powder.  This gives a nice sparkle to the image.
 
 
Step 3
 
 Die cut the with thanks die from a scrap of purple card. 
 Apply to the top of the background. 
Add some punched butterflies and adhere the whole panel to the gift bag.

Love Birds

Good Morning Crafters   With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.   Have you made your Valentine's card yet?   Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.     Products used for this project are:   Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers Aspire Crafts Stamping Card C6 white card blank Red and black cardstock Fired Brick distress ink Worn Lipstick distress ink Versamark stamping pad White embossing powder Memento black ink Scrap of red ribbon Red crystal stickers   Step 1 For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.  Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.    Step 2 Cut out a heart shape from w
