With Love
Good Morning Crafters
How are you all doing today?
The weekend is shortly upon us and that means hopefully getting some crafting done!
Do you have any crafting projects planned for this weekend?
Today we have a new project for you by Gill
Cream
and Purple are lovely colours together, they are so regal looking. These
colours are the basis of my latest card using products from Personal Impressions. Check out the website for stockists
To create this project you will need the following:
My
Colors Cardstock in Cyber Grape and Salt Lake
Memento
ink in Grape Jelly
Silver
organza ribbon
Sweet
Dixie Dies:
Birthday
Sentiments, Embroidery Style Frames & the flowers from Fancy Floral Frames
Personal
Impressions Butterfly stamp
Step 1
Make a 6' x 6' tent card blank from the cream cardstock and die cut all your elements
Step 2
Stamp the butterfly on the left over cardstock using memento ink and emboss with Stardust embossing powder.
Once dry fussy cut around the butterfly
Step 3
At this point I lay out all the die cuts to decide how I will build up the card
Step 4
Wrap a piece of the organza ribbon around the right hand side of the largest purple die cut and tie in a bow at the bottom.
Matt the cream die cut over this and adhere them both to the card blank.
Step 5
Shape the flowers using a ball tool and shaping block.
If you haven't got a shaping block you can do this in the palm of your hand.
Add a little bit of bling to the middle of the flowers
Step 6
Adhere the flowers to the bottom left hand corner of the card, the butterfly to the top right hand corner and the 'with love' sentiment to the top left hand corner. I have added a little more bling coming from the butterfly.
'With
Love' on the card can be used for so many occasions so is perfect to keep in
your collection of cards ready for that perfect occasion.
For
example I would use this for an engagement, thinking of you, Birthday, Mothers
day and even condolences.
Many thanks for visiting today!
Beautiful card and the dies you have used are gorgeous.
