Today I have decided to set myself a challenge and have gathered a few coordinating craft items together and wanted to see how many cards in 1 hour I could make. Here in the photo is the main items I am going to use.

So here we go…..
Card No 1

I have started with a 6” x 6” card blank cut from the A4 Personal Impressions card stock and folded. Using the Studiolight JBS paper pad I have selected the stripe border sheet in lilac & florals and also the Pale green polka dot papers, I have also used a lilac sheet of plain card stock. I cut the back piece at 13.8cm x 13.8cm, the green polka at 12.8cm x 12.8cm and the lilac border piece at 11.8cm 11.8cm.

These have all been matted and layered together and stuck to the card blank.

Next I used the Wooden sentiment ‘Lovely’ and using wet glue stuck that down the border line.

Next using the offcuts from the papers and cardstock we used for layering I have punched out some flowers and then rolled with them an icing roller tool / embossing tool on a sponge to give then some shape. I have then layered them and stuck them to the top right hand corner and finished with white pearls in the centres.

Now on Card No 2

Again I have used the white Personal Impressions card stock and cut to make a 6” x 6” Card blank. This time I have chosen the Pink floral & butterfly sheet from the JBS paper pad and matched with some dark pink card stock. These have been cut at: Pink cardstock – 14.5cm x 14.5cm and the floral paper at 13.8cm x 13.8cm. These have been stuck down and layered onto the card blank.

Now we take the tea tray decoupage elements out of the decoupage sheet by Studiolight and nip off the bits that attach to the sheet and then start to layer them up using 3d foam.

The next step is to mount the topper on to a piece of the dark pink card stock and layer onto the card.

I have added a piece of dusky pink satin ribbon and tied a knot on the top corner and rounded the edges of an extra panel and stuck at the top in the centre and the using wet glue stuck the wooden word ‘Party’ on the panel.

I have finished the card with tiny white pearls.

And finally I am on the third card

This one is a lovely lilac colour card. I have used a dark purple cardstock and the lovely pale lilac butterfly paper from the JBS paper pad.

The card blank is again made from the Personal Impressions Card stock and makes a 6” x 6” card blank, I have then cut the purple sheet to 14.5cm x 14.5cm and the paper is cut to 13.8cm x 13.8cm and is stuck down using 3d foam to the purple card stock, now before sticking to the card blank I have tied the purple gingham ribbon on an angle and tied to one side. Then these are all stuck down to the card blank.

Now using the wooden embellishments I have used Promarkers to give them coordinating colours for the card. I have stuck the frames down first and then the flowers and to finish them off added tiny white pearls to the centres of the flowers.

Next I have added a piece of the lilac & pink striped paper from the pad and cut to 9cm x 7cm and using 3d foam stuck that down over the ribbon.

To finish I have added a coloured wooden butterfly and also the wooden sentiment ‘Amazing’ on the stripy panel and that’s the hour all gone.

1 hour 3 cards – Great fun and a brilliant way to make you use some odd bits of paper and embellishments you may have hanging around.

Thank you for stopping by Today!
