Unicorn Birthday Card by Teresa Morgan

Unicorns are so fashionable at the moment, they have been appearing on giftware and homeware, as well as all over Pinterest on cakes and craft projects. I have created this sweet birthday card using the pretty Sweet Dixie Unicorn die from Personal Impressions.



I cut the unicorn from four different colour cardstock and overlapped them on the card front. I added some sparkle with Stardust Stickles on their horns. The sentiment is a Sweet Dixie stamp by Lindsay Mason which I matted onto blue card before attaching with 3d foam. I added some silver adhesive gems to the corners to finish my card.

Good Morning Crafters   With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.   Have you made your Valentine's card yet?   Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.     Products used for this project are:   Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers Aspire Crafts Stamping Card C6 white card blank Red and black cardstock Fired Brick distress ink Worn Lipstick distress ink Versamark stamping pad White embossing powder Memento black ink Scrap of red ribbon Red crystal stickers   Step 1 For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.  Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.    Step 2 Cut out a heart shape from w
