Personal Impressions

This card was created using the beautiful Sweet Dixie Fairytale Castle die from Personal Impressions. I cut the castle out three times from some silver glitter card, so I could layer it up with 3d foam pads. The sentiment is from Sweet Dixie’s An Extra Special Wish set of stamps. I coloured the background with Broken China Distress Ink, blended against some torn card to create the clouds in the sky. Thanks for stopping by – I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy project. A little Get Well Card to Friends and Family suffering with winter coughs and colds. Using Sweet Dixie Spring Blooms Stencil  to create an embossed & distressed background  and Sweet Dixie Floral Watering Can Die  Designed by Sue Dix from Personal Impressions. This die was at first used to cut out black card highlighting the watering can using silver gilding wax giving it that metal look.  The upper flower part of the die was cut using  many colours and layered  to create a colourful bouquet. Ranger Stickles glue and gemstones have been added for sparkle. For those of you suffering I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you get chance to put your feet up and have a restful weekend. Unicorns are so fashionable at the moment, they have been appearing on giftware and homeware, as well as all over Pinterest on cakes and craft projects. I have created this sweet birthday card using the pretty Sweet Dixie Unicorn die from Personal Impressions. I cut the unicorn from four different colour cardstock and overlapped them on the card front. I added some sparkle with Stardust Stickles on their horns. The sentiment is a Sweet Dixie stamp by Lindsay Mason which I matted onto blue card before attaching with 3d foam. I added some silver adhesive gems to the corners to finish my card.
