Through the Oval Window

Good Morning Crafters

Friday sure has rolled around quickly this week!

Today we are sharing a beautiful card created by Samantha.

Check out the Personal Impressions website to view the Card-io range of stamps we stock.
We have a stockist locator on the home page which enables you to find a stockist near you.

To recreate this card you will need the following:

Card-io Collection Backyard Blooms,
Pleasant Pastures and Pottery Petites.
Distress Inks, Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Mustard seed.
Watercolour card, black card.
Window die cut.
Versafine inks black, spanish moss, imperial purple and canary.
Stickles star dust.
Glossy Accents.

Step 1
Press distress inks onto a matt and spray with plenty of water and wipe watercolour card thought to make the background scene.
Leave to dry.

Step 2

With the die cut, pencil though the window in the centre of the card, so you can stamp inside.

Step 3

With all the small animals/insects and flowers, stamp inside the shapes.
The stamps work perfectly on the rods from card-io or a clear block.
Rub out the pencil marks.

Step 4

Add glitter stickles to the flowers.
Glossy accents to insects and bird.
Add 3D foam tape to window.

Step 5

Matt the black card onto the white card, then the watercolour scene on top.
3D the window on to card.
Add the stickles glue to the edge of watercolour card, to finish.

 Thank you for visiting Today!
