Did you enjoy your long weekend?  Did you manage to get some crafting done?
 
Today we have a step by step to share from Louise using Dali Art Stamps.

This project will need the following:
 
Dali Art "The Moment - Butterfly Swirl" Stamp Set
Distress Inks: Picked Raspberry, Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade
Black Archival Ink
Perfect Medium Embossing Ink
Sweet Dixie Embossing Powder
Personal Impressions Premier Quality Smooth White Card
 
From Lou's stash - black card and ribbon.
 
 
Create an A6 card blank with black card.
Arrange the words on to your block in the order you want them to appear. Using Perfect medium, stamp the words on to the  corner of your pre-cut card (9.5cm x 11cm). Emboss the words with clear embossing powder.
 
Using the distress inks, gradually build up colour to expose the words but leaving a white area at the top right of your card.

Add swirls to the edges of your card with picked raspberry distress ink and the swirls wings of the butterfly.
 
 

Stamp the butterfly to frame the words and fill the upper space of the card.
 

Mount the finished panel on to a piece of black card leaving a small border.


Cut a piece of white card to fit the front of your card blank and tear away one corner. Colour the torn edge as per the topper. Mount to your card and add the topper; mounting latter with 3D foam pads. Finally add a knotted ribbon to the bottom.

Love Birds

Good Morning Crafters   With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.   Have you made your Valentine's card yet?   Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.     Products used for this project are:   Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers Aspire Crafts Stamping Card C6 white card blank Red and black cardstock Fired Brick distress ink Worn Lipstick distress ink Versamark stamping pad White embossing powder Memento black ink Scrap of red ribbon Red crystal stickers   Step 1 For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.  Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.    Step 2 Cut out a heart shape from w
