Sweet Dixie Flights of Fancy

Today we have a step by step created by Louise.
 
She has used Sweet Dixie Flights of Fancy stamp set, check out the Personal Impressions website to see the full range of products under the Sweet Dixie brand.
 
 
To create this project you will need the following:
 
Sweet Dixie Flights of Fantasy stamp set
Sweet Dixie Fantasy Floral Border and Panel
Sweet Dixie Birdcage Dies
Sweet Dixie Blueberry Blue embossing powder
Sweet Dixie Sky Blue cardPersonal Impressions Premier Quality Smooth White Card
Perfect Medium embossing ink
From  own stash: Liquid Pearls (white)


Create an A6 landscape card blank from the Sweet Dixie sky blue card.

Cut a white panel of card, slightly small than the card base. Stamp the floral border with Perfect medium and emboss using Blueberry Blue powder

 Cut away the bottom edge of the image, attach 3D foam and mount to your card blank.

Cut 2 bird cages and 2 each of the birds from the white and blue card.



5] Stick die cuts together, slightly offset, to create a shadow.

 

Stamp the 'Let your dreams take flight' with Perfect medium, embossing with   powder. Mount the sentiment on to the blue card. Add the die cuts and sentiment to your card front.

 

Stamp the floral border again on to white and blue card, emboss and then cut out different elements to use as embellishments.

Add the floral elements to your card as a finishing touch and to create extra depth.

Love Birds

Good Morning Crafters   With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.   Have you made your Valentine's card yet?   Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.     Products used for this project are:   Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers Aspire Crafts Stamping Card C6 white card blank Red and black cardstock Fired Brick distress ink Worn Lipstick distress ink Versamark stamping pad White embossing powder Memento black ink Scrap of red ribbon Red crystal stickers   Step 1 For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.  Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.    Step 2 Cut out a heart shape from w
