Love Birds

Good Morning Crafters

With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.

Have you made your Valentine's card yet?

Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.

Products used for this project are:

Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers
Aspire Crafts Stamping Card
C6 white card blank
Red and black cardstock
Fired Brick distress ink
Worn Lipstick distress ink
Versamark stamping pad
White embossing powder
Memento black ink
Scrap of red ribbon
Red crystal stickers

Step 1
For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.
Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.

Step 2
Cut out a heart shape from white card using either a die cut or scissors.  Stamp the two love birds onto the heart using black memento ink.

Step 3
Stick the heart shape onto the front of the background card using 3d foam tape for added dimension.  Wrap a scrap of red ribbon around the bottom of the card.

Step 4
Mount the background card onto some black and then red card and stick to the card front.  Stamp the Love Birds sentiment below the topper.
Add a ribbon bow to the strip of ribbon and add crystal stickers to each corner and the heart topper.

A quick and simple card using just a few elements from the stamp set which is packed with lots of lovely stamps.
