Baby Door Hanger

Good Morning Crafters

Just back home following the Trade Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

It was lovely to see you all and make new friends too!

Today we have a beautiful  baby door hanger by our Gill.

Products she has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.

The items I used for this Door hanger are
Vintage Lane 3D Die Cut Block Pad
Memento Ink - Toffee Crunch
My Colors Cardstock - Sweetie Pie Pink
Pink Organza Ribbon
MDF Letters
Lace from my stock
Free Template downloaded from the Internet
Little icing feet embellishments from my stash

Step 1
Draw around the template on to you cardstock and cut out

Step 2
Using ultra sticky double sided tape add layers of lace to the bottom of the door hanger
Gently ink around the edges with the Toffee Crunch to give a vintage look to the door hanger

Step 3
Pop out the decoupage images and put together with double sided sticky buds and put to one side

Step 4
I inked the MDF letters with a Burgundy Promarker to match the pram on the image.
Other alcohol ink pens will be just a good as the MDF letters take ink beautifully.

Step 5
Once you have decided on the lay out of your door hanger stick everything down.
I used Mod Podge for this bit.
Tie a double pink organza ribbon around the handle to finish off

I have added this close up of the image to show you how beautiful it is.
The quality of the Vintage Lane pad is fantastic and so versatile.

And don't forget the little image of the full lay put in the top right hand corner can be made into a little gift card

Thank you for stopping by Today!
