Christmas Star Decoration

We have a beautiful project by Mags to share with you today.

Decopatch Stars
Distress ink (mustard seed, crushed olive)
Memento Black Ink
Glue
Glitter
Twine
Gems


 
Step 1
 Blend distress ink over the decopatch star using a combination of mustard seed and crushed olive.  Ensure that both sides of the star are covered.
 
Step 2
Dab a thin layer of glue over both sides of the star and cover with glitter. 
 

Step 3
 From the collectables set stamp a sentiment onto a star and bird using Memento black ink. 
Go round the edges with mustard seed distress ink to add some interest and colour.
 

 
Step 4
Add some twine to the string on the stars and then attach to the back of the star and bird. 
Add a gem to the centre of each glittered star.

Love Birds

Good Morning Crafters   With Valentine's day being next Sunday Mag's has created this beautiful card.   Have you made your Valentine's card yet?   Products Mags has used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.     Products used for this project are:   Studio Light Creative with Chalk stamp set – Birdcage and Flowers Aspire Crafts Stamping Card C6 white card blank Red and black cardstock Fired Brick distress ink Worn Lipstick distress ink Versamark stamping pad White embossing powder Memento black ink Scrap of red ribbon Red crystal stickers   Step 1 For the background randomly stamp the cluster of hearts from the stamp set using versamark onto a piece of white card.  Emboss using white embossing powder.  Blend Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick distress ink over the whole of the white card.  Remove the ink from the large hearts using some water and a paintbrush.    Step 2 Cut out a heart shape from w
