Halloween Tag Part 2
Good Morning Crafters
Part 2 in the Halloween Tag collection by Pandy to share with you today.
All products used can be found on the Personal Impressions website.
You will need the following to create this tag:
Stampers Anonymous classics
stamp set #11
12” x 12” Sheet of double
sided scrapbook paper from the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities - border designs
Memento Ink Pad – Bamboo
leaves
Any odd bits of lace and
twine you have
Double sided tape
Foam raisers
Silicone glue
Step 1
Use the tag as a guide
and roughly cut out a shape to cover the front. Don’t be exact – you want
it to be a bit rough. Distress round the edges with a distressing tool or
your craft knife and tear a split in one side.
Step 2
Layer a length of lace
behind the tear in the paper and cut a bat shape out of the pattern to layer on
to the top of the lace. Curve the wings and fix just the body with
silicone glue so he stands out on the tag.
Step 3
Cut a Strip of pattern
for the book ‘shelf’ and fix to the tag with double sided tape. Cut a
couple of the book stack images – shape them to create a £D look and fix them
on the ‘shelf’ with silicone glue.
Step 4
Stamp the Stampers
Anonymous Alphabet on to cream / ivory card using the Memento Bamboo
Leaves. Mat onto a matching colour card and scuff up all the edges
Colour in the letters.
Step 5
Kitten Tip – Memento is
water proof and alcohol ink proof so you can colour the letters with anything
you fancy – I have used an outrageously sparkly gel pen
Use your foam raisers to
build up the height you need and fix then image at an angle over the side of
the books.
Add a couple of extra
bats and as much bling as you fancy
