Decorated Picnic Basket using Graphic 45

Good Morning

The weekend is here and we hope you manage to get some crafting time.

Today we have Sandra's Picnic Basket to share with you.

She has used Paper Mache picnic basket and Graphic 45 Good Ol' Sport papers.

We have a stockist locator on the home page of the website to find a stockist near you!

As I quite like the Kraft colour on this picnic basket, I decided to choose papers that would compliment the colour and not cover it all up.

Take the Lid and draw around it using a pencil, cut out and adhere to lid then distress using Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

To cover the side of the lid cut out a strip measuring ½ inch by 8 inch strip x 2 ½, this will cover the side nicely.

Next make a rosette for the top by cutting 2 strips of 8 x 2 inches using the paper of your choice.
Before scoring at every 5mm distress the edges, glue the ends together then lay down to form the rosette.  Take a tag of your choice distress and adhere to centre of rosette.

To decorate the sides of the base of the picnic basket cut 3 strips of 8 x ½ inches paper to go around the very bottom of the basket.
For the centre of the basket cut out 2 strips of 8 x 2 ¾ inches, you will notice from the photograph it doesn't meet at each end. To conceal this use 2 tags.

To decorate the handles of the basket you will need 2 strips of 8 x ½ paper.
Using the Sticker sheet alphabet I created the sentiment for the side of the basket.

Thank you for stopping by Today!
