Studio Light Gift Boxes Review

Image
Good Morning   We asked Jennifer Bradley who has been paper crafting for a number of years now to write a review on the Studio Light Shabby Chic and Vintage Gift Boxes. Studio Light is based in Holland and we here at Personal Impressions are the exclusive distributors of these products.   Gift Boxes - 14 in total of various sizes with gift tags to match the boxes   1 Pillow Box with accessories to match.   This is what Jennifer had to say. This new product is a great way to create a gift box that is perfect for that special little gift. The boxes are very easy to make and only require a small amount of wet glue or tape down the side of some of the larger boxes. The smaller ones require no glue and simply need the perforated score lines folding and then the whole thing simply slots together.  Colours are very pretty and femine.  Once the boxes are made they are quite sturdy as they have been made with good ...

ARC Crafts

Image
Arc Crafts are based in the USA and Personal Impressions are the only distributors of the innovative wood surfaces and speciality paper! We sent 2 of our sample makers the product to work with.   Here is what Linda and Kath created...     The wood paper is so versatile and has an adhesive backing sheet. It was embossed, stencilled,  heat embossed, die cut. Images were stamped using Adirondak Acrylic Paint Dabber and Ranger Distress Ink.   It was very easy to cut straight lines with your ruler, which is always a bonus when you are matting and layering.   Four very different projects but showcase just how much Linda and Kath enjoyed working with this new product.    Products used can be found on the Personal Impressions Website   Don't forget to check out the website for a stockist near you!   Thank you for visiting!

Studio Light

We sent a member of our sample making team the New Studio Light Birdhouse MDF kit. The kit comes with easy to assemble MDF birdhouse, 4 doubleside A4 patterned papers, a sheet of die cut butterflies and flowers, a sheet of vintage tags and vintage photographs.     Here is what Linda created...   I first assembled the MDF birdhouse to see how easy it assembled and I must say it was so easy and everything slotted into where it should go!  There is also instructions on the back of the front sheet.     Using brown acrylic paint, paint all the edges of the pieces, when painted set to one side to dry. They take the paint really well and dried very quick too.   The papers are beautiful and take ink really well. Covering all the pieces and then sanding the edges to give a shabby chic/vintage feel to the birdhouse. Mod Podge Matt was used to adhere the paper to the MDF>   Before assembling the pieces u...
